“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
Steve Jobs

One of the most foundational sources of both success and happiness is simply being comfortable with who you really are. Not trading your reality for a role or your truth for an act. Not giving up your freedom of thought. Not putting on a mask. Never let anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you. If you desire to make a difference in the world, you must continue to be different from the world.

It can be incredibly difficult to separate from the ‘herd’ and go our own way when it goes against the grain of the herd mentality (or majority) and yet, if we do not, we know there is a part of us that will slowly begin to die.

This is when life becomes more about enduring until we die rather than thriving while we are here. Do not be scared to walk alone on your own path, and do not be scared to like it.

It is never too late to begin living your own life, being who you are – you just have to listen to that voice within that never lies and take the first step… and then the next step… and then the next one.

‘Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.”
