Too Much Complaining
“What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Don’t complain.”
Maya Angelo

I have learnt from experience that those who complain the most, accomplish the least. It is always better to attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing. It is not over if you have lost; it is over when you do nothing but complain about it.

We may have so much more today than what we did years ago, yet we are able to find the slightest opportunity to complain about the little things that we do not have.

If you believe in something, keep trying. The limitation begins when we let the shadows of the past fill us with self doubt for the future. Spending today complaining about yesterday will not make tomorrow any brighter.

Take action, building your confidence and successes. And regardless of what happens in the long run, remember that true happiness begins to arrive only when we stop complaining about our problems and we start being grateful for all the problems we do not have.

Find a moment each day to appreciate the things in your life which truly matter to you.

  1. Yes, people Champlain too often abut praise not enough. We need to change this. Praise people and it gets better as praise raises self esteem , self worth and makes one feel good and then we try even harder. Complaining is the opposite.

    1. Thank you for sharing your wise words….I am reminded of the words of Joyce Meyer….’Complain and remain. Praise and be raised.’

We can also be motivational, simply by acknowledging what a person as done.
