“Like a sculptor, if necessary, carve a friend out of stone. Realize that your inner sight is blind and try to see a treasure in everyone.”
What if we were all exactly alike? What if everyone spoke the same, acted the same, liked to the same music and watched the same TV programs? The world would be extremely dull!
Try to be tolerant. Decide to to stop the drama before it begins, to breathe deeply and peacefully, and to love others and yourself without conditions. We are all unique, we all have our own special quirks.
Try to laugh at mistakes, and to realise that no one is perfect; we are all human. Feelings of self worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible.
“We all do better when we work together. Our differences do matter, but our common humanity matters more.”
