Making Your Own Sunshine

‘Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.”
Anthony J. D’Angelo

In life, we have to create our own sunshine. Happiness starts from within. Try to find something positive each morning. Keep your focus on all the positive possibilities and opportunities.

The higher our energy level, the better we feel and the more likely we are to be productive.

There are many things that can make us feel low and leave us with a dwindling energy supply. Such as when we feel physically or emotionally unwell, low self-esteem or being affected by life’s ebbs and flows.

How do we up our energy supply to ensure it is set at a high level?

One of the best ways to boost your energy is by exchanging positivity with other people. Positive energy feeds off positivity (in the same way negativity does), surround yourself with people who give you that warm glow in their presence.

When we feeling that life is not going in the direction we would like, or we are not in the driver’s seat, it is only natural to be experiencing a little lackluster. This is where some imagination can go a long way.

Turn things around by thinking about your dream, and start mapping out the path of how to get there. What small step can you make each day?

Take care of yourself… Give yourself the gift of sufficient sleep. Some of us need the recommended eight hours, where as others can function on less. Work out what your body needs and try to get it.

A healthy body reaping the benefits of healthy nutritious food will provide you with energy you need to get through the day. Start the day with a good breakfast. A high fiber, high carb meal gives you the highest level of alertness between breakfast and lunch.

With an increase in mental energy, we stay motivated and disciplined. We become more productive and creative, feeling more vibrant and optimistic about the future.

I always remember the wise words of my grandmother…a good laugh is sunshine in the house.

The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results.’
