“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Living intentionally is about taking control of your life by committing to make conscious choices rather than simply letting life ‘happen’ to you.
Each morning is a new day full of decisions and opportunity. We get to choose our attitude and our decisions. We do not have to let the circumstances of our past determine the pattern of our life in the future. We have a choice in the matter. You do not need to be stuck in the same pattern of living that have been for years… every morning is a new opportunity.
Making the positive choices each day that will take us closer to achieving the life we aspire to. Understanding that that while there will always be obstacles and unexpected detours in life, it is up to us to choose how we respond to them.
Choosing to live life with intention is important, becoming clearer about what is important to you and the overall outcome you really want for your life.
The difference between setting an intention and setting a goal can be thought of as the intention being equivalent to building the road, goal setting is the walking of the road.
Be courageous enough to own your choices – no excuses, no regrets. Remembering that success does not come to you….you go to it!
‘Live with intention. walk to the edge. listen hard. practice wellness. play with abandon. laugh. choose with no regret. continue to learn. appreciate your friends. do what you love. live as if this is all there is.’
