Promise Yourself

“People never learn anything by being told, they have to find out for themselves.”
Paulo Coelho

The beauty of life is, while we can not undo what is done, we can try to understand it, learn from it and make changes. Life never stops moving forward. Stay focused and never hold yourself back with regrets. Smile, forgive and keep moving on.

Be thankful for the bad things in life, as they opened your eyes to the good things you maybe were not paying attention to before. Life is ironic. It takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence, and absence to value presence.

Promise yourself to listen to your intuitions, follow your gut reaction when you need an answer. Try not to worry too much about what the others think. If you expect others to make things right for you, the chances are you will always end up disappointed. You are responsible for your life. Promise yourself to achieve your best today.

“Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you!”
