What You Believe

“Every man gives his life for what he believes … one life is all we have to live and we live it according to what we believe.”
Joan of Arc

The beliefs that you hold are can be either empowering, or, dis-empowering. It is not just a question of which belief is right versus wrong. Our conscious beliefs are what we think we believe, whereas our subconscious beliefs and deepest convictions are what we really believe.

For many people their personal beliefs can be barriers to personal development and creating the life they desire.

Our mindset and our ways of thinking either help us, or hold us back. Whether our belief is a way of thinking that will help us achieve our goals or not, we will always find evidence to support our belief, and so it becomes our reality.

Overcoming limiting beliefs requires that you identify them first. These include excuses, negative thoughts justifications, beliefs conditioned from culture or family, past failures or fear.

Here are some common deep-rooted beliefs that may be limiting you. See if you identify with any of them.

“I’m not good enough”

“I don’t have what it takes”

“I’m not lucky in life”

Overcoming your limiting beliefs requires that you replace each of them with new and more empowering ways of thinking. So your challenge is to create a new perspective and life philosophies that really resonates and you believe in, to enable you to fully succeed. …. the solution lies within you.

What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.’
Tony Robbins
