”Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.”
You have probably noticed that it is hard to be motivated all the time. If your motivation is waning, look at what is standing in your way.
For many of us, fear blocks our way. Many of us hesitate to take on a project or follow a dream because we are afraid of negative consequences. What if I make a mistake? What if I fail?
Over come your fears head-on by slowing down, doing what it is that makes you scared and challenging your fear-filled thoughts. If you say you are not good at making presentations, find examples to the contrary, better preparation and a confident body language will take you a long way.
Another way to turn your dreams into concrete actions is to look at the smallest possible steps you can take to get the project into action, without succumbing to your feelings of fear.
Maybe you dream of being an author, but also have a lot of doubt and fear about it. Start writing every day for 20 minutes… before the end of the year you can be well on the way to your first book.
Remember, fear does not exist anywhere except in your mind. Are you letting fear hold you back?
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
