To Better Your Life

We are limited but we can push back the borders of our limitations’

Stephen Covey

Whatever it is that we hope might happen in the future will not happen unless we are doing something about it now. The key is to take action, not sitting around waiting for something to happen in your life. Making it happen.

By choosing to read this Blog you are probably thinking about your life and how it could be better, more exceptional. Recognising that more is possible for you and improvement can be achieved, is the first step to stretching yourself.

What do you want to achieve, learn, accomplish, enjoy and understand? Start with a list of areas for career, family, travel, self-development, education or any others that apply to your life. Under each area, write down your heart’s desire – without limitations, no holding back

Focus on 3 points in each area, it is better than overwhelming yourself with everything on your list. Create momentum and excitement by beginning with an easy goal. Something that will not involve too much of a stretch. Maybe it is a trip you have wanted to take or a class you have been thinking about. When you have ticked it off, start with your next goal.

Begin by taking small steps. Write down how to accomplish your goal – from making calls, saving up money, setting appointments, doing research. Make an action list and then commit to doing it….One step at a time.

As you take steps to stretch yourself and create a better life, remember to enjoy the ‘right now.’ The process of growth is forever, it is a continous process. See the moment, see the beauty, this is your life.

‘No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.’
