Why Me?

”Adversity is a fact of life. It can’t be controlled. What we can control is how we react to it.”

Life is filled with highs and lows and it id all too easy to get discouraged if things do not work out as planned from time to time.

In difficult times it is important to keep things in perspective. Even if you feel a bit overwhelmed by all the obstacles you have to overcome on a daily basis.

Remember that by always feeling stressed out and tired because of all those things that are basically beyond our control, we will not make our problems go away; we will just make them a lot more scarier. I know that sometimes it can be quite hard to get all those negative thoughts out of our head but it is not impossible. Just remember there are signs we are doing better than we think and we will feel better in a short time.

You are alive. You are able to see the sunrise and the sunset You have a roof over your head and food to eat. You have access to the Internet and you can read. And in times of great stress or adversity, it is always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.

The truth is, you are doing better than a lot of people in this world. Try to remember to be grateful for all the things you do have. And look at the lessons you are learning. Remember to consider these the next time you might be tempted to ask your self ‘Why me?’

‘Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. A ‘you can do it’ when things are tough.’
