inner Harmony

I often look for ways to find a deeper sense of inner harmony, it often begins with me feeling that something is amiss from my life and that my life is somewhat, out of sync with the world around me.

It is important for us to accept ourselves for who we are, with all our strengths, weaknesses and limitations. Too often our struggles begin with low self esteem and feeling inferior because we falsely imagine that we should fit into some kind of stereotype. Remember that we are all unique with unique individual talents and special qualities. Be proud of those qualities and skills and nurture and cultivate them often.

Live a balanced life. Balance the hustle and bustle of daily life with ‘peace breaks’, time spent in a tranquil setting where you can simply reflect on the day’s events. Importantly, make time for play as well as for work and prioritise sleep time.

Happiness and peace come from the inside. If our mind is at peace we will be happy, regardless of the influence of external events.

Make time today to nurture yourself.
