Moving Forward

Doing nothing gets you nothing.”
Sean Reichle

When we want to move forward in our life, setting goals can be highly motivational. We are unlikely to achieve success if our goals are vague, too ambitious, or not what we really want. Setting realistic goals, leads us to grow and achieve something new in our life.

We ultimately become what we repeatedly do. The acquisition of knowledge does not mean you are growing – growing happens when what you know changes how you live.

And remember that this change does not happen all at once. It happens just one small step at a time. When it comes to making changes, less can often be more.

It is all too easy to set yourself unrealistic goals – make a development ‘to-do’ list limited to one core area. Achieving these results gives you a feeling of empowerment rather than being overwhelmed since you take everything in smaller, manageable steps.

In order to truly move your life forward you first need to stop, to pause awhile, sit with it, picture were you want your life to go. Give yourself the space to accept where you are, and sort through the possibilities ahead of you.

Take action today. Begin to move your life forward.

“Remember, a real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.”

Anthony Robbins
