In You Own Way

“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.”
Gautama Buddha

One of the most important sources for both success and happiness is simply being comfortable with who you really are. Not trading your reality for a ‘role’ you play or your truth for an act. Not giving up your freedom of thought. Not putting on a mask.

Nor letting anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you. If you desire to make a difference in the world, you need to be different from the world.

It can be extremely difficult to separate from the ‘herd’ and go our own way. It goes against the grain of the herd mentality (or majority) and yet, if we do not, we know there is a part of us that will slowly begin to die.

This is when life becomes more about enduring you shrivel, rather than thriving on the life you pursue. Importantly you need to have the courage to walk alone on your own path, in a direction that is right for you.

It is never too late to begin living your own life, being who you really are – you just have to listen to that voice within that never lies. What fires you up? What motivates you each day? It all begins with that first step.

Take a closer look at how you live your life…..Choose to live it in your own way.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
Steve Jobs
