Valuable Experince

”By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the toughest.”

When I reflect back on my life I have had times when I have failed and I have been hurt. More importantly, I have loved and been loved, I have risked and gained. That I have grown not just older, but wiser. And all of this carries it’s own value – a greater weight than any particular failure or wound.

If you think of your whole life I believe you will look back on your life and see that the greatest portion of it was spent living, loving, and learning through priceless experiences. The problems, the failures, the sadness… these things are part of the picture that led to a more rounded, wiser you.

We all do things we desperately wish we could undo. These feelings of regret just become part of who we are, along with everything else. To spend time trying to change the past, is to waste all of the present and future, it’s time to move on, focusing on the lessons learnt. It is better to have a life full of small failures that you learned from, rather than a lifetime filled with the regrets of never trying.

Mistakes are learning opportunities. It can take many failures to create success. How can you make life work for you life before you know how life works? I believe to fully enjoy life you need begin to understand yourself… what motives you to get out of bed each day? What is your idea of success?

Each life experience, good or bad is a valuable lesson….continue to learn, grow and develop….. as you build up your self belief .

‘From good things, we learn to be a thankful person. From bad things, we learn to be a strong person. Remember that everything will not go the way you want it to. It’s a matter of learning that life isn’t handed to you. Stop worrying about what others want. Think about what you want, if you listen too much to what people say about you, you will never be who you really are.’
