To Try

just-try

“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.”
Beverly Sills

.
We all have projects we want to do. Some however, are put on the back burner for quite some time, waiting for the ‘right‘ moment to start. I believe it becomes easier to begin when we are well prepared.

.
Before I begin a project, I  ask myself three questions –

.
Why am I doing it?

.
What the results might be?

.
Will I be successful and what am I doing to ensure success?

.
When you are happy with the answers to these questions, you are in a better place to start from…but importantly…there is no failure except in no not trying. Through gaining experience, you discover what works, what needs modifying and you are on a steep learning curve.

.
Do you start and risk trying? What ever the out come, you will always be able to look back and say that at least I tried. With commitment from yourself and self belief you can make it happen.

.
“The worst thing one can do is not to try, to be aware of what one wants and not give in to it, to spend years in silent hurt wondering if something could have materialized – never knowing.”
Jim Rohn
