The Courage To Try

“If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.”

There is huge gulf between what we say we will do, and what we actually do. Most of us have an idea of what our ideal life looks like, and yet only a few have the courage and determination to make our dreams come true.

Familiarity often holds us back from reaching our dreams and aspirations. And that is really sad. Except we do not know just how sad it is, until 10, 20, 30 years go by and we are no closer to our goals than you are today.

Start trusting your self more and find the courage to stop listening to that negative self talk. Our mind can be a very distracting tool….coming up with a million reasons why we should not do something.

Progress in life is largely due to our ability to limit the ways we block our own progress. We stop ourselves, not by the wrong actions, but by our inaction, this hinders most of us and is the cause of most failure.

For the inability to realise your self, and to attain your capabilities, is the definition of stagnation and the opposite of progress. Remember, limits are an illusion. You have the choice.… you make your own life.

Moving forward in the face of uncertainty takes bravery. The answer is not to suppress or escape the fear you feel, but to accept it, and push on. And remember the main limiting factor to attaining your dreams of tomorrow, are the doubts you have today. Take your life forward with a plan of action and a strong sense of self belief.

Find the courage today to take action on the thing you have feared to try.

“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.”
Anaïs Nin
