A Different Perspective

“There are no facts, only interpretations.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

I believe taking our life forward is an extremely rewarding  experience. Yet it is re-living and reacting our past, attachments, resentments and fears is what keeps us from growing. We often assume the past looked so much better than the present and the future looks so frightening, but we have to take into consideration the fact that the present moment is all we have and all we will ever have.

The past you are now longing for – the past that you are now dreaming about – was ignored when it was present. Stop deluding yourself. Be present in everything you do and enjoy life. The moment you detach yourself from all those things that you do not really need, you find more peace, tolerance, kindness, and even feel serene. You will get to a place where you will be able to understand, even without trying – a state beyond words.

Let go of any internal resentment towards someone, situations and events. When we hold a grudge, we only take power away from our self and learning stops.

Sometimes all we need to do is look at things from a different perspective. Look at were your life is today, the good things  you have achieved and how far you have come.

“Dream delivers us to dream, and there is no end to illusion. Life is like a train of moods like a string of beads, and, as we pass through them, they prove to be many-colored lenses which paint the world their own hue. . .”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
