Inner Calm

Inner calm does not depend on external conditions. Peace can happen within you at any place and at any time. It is always there, patiently waiting for you to turn your attention towards it.

Peace of mind happens when we let go of the need to be anywhere but where we are, physically and emotionally. This acceptance of the way things are creates the foundation for inner harmony. The need for something to be different in this moment is nothing more than a worry, and worries simply lead us in circles. Acceptance will bring you back to your peaceful, productive center.

It is not complicated to achieve and is as close as your next thought. Just by paying attention to your thinking you see that many thoughts are primarily fear based and judgmental.

Inner calm begins and strengthens through becoming more aware of who you really are, knowing you love yourself , making changes in the way you think, practicing kindness and accepting what is.

Focus today on becoming less doubting and judgmental and more accepting of yourself and others.
