It takes no more time to see the good side of life and act upon it than it does to see the bad side and get bogged down by it. If you do not like something, change it. If you can not change it, change your thinking. Rather than look at what is missing learn to focus on that which is good in your life.

No matter how difficult things often appear in our life there is always something, maybe even many things, that are right. It all depends on our focus. Looking for what is right in the moment will help you to see and appreciate what is really good.

I love early mornings. I love listening to the sound of the birds outside my window. Their song puts a smile on my face and brings joy to my heart. This is just something very simple yet it lifts my spirits and brings me joy. Wouldn’t you rather focus on something that brings you joy rather than to focus on that which brings your spirits down?

Decide to look for the good in your life……you will see that the more you do this the more ‘good’ will become apparent to you. Get into the habit of doing this and see how your life changes for the better.
