An Abundance

“The world is full of abundance and opportunity, but far too many people come to the fountain of life with a sieve instead of a tank car… a teaspoon instead of a steam shovel. They expect little and as a result they get little.”
Ben Sweetland

I believe that there is a strong feeling of scarcity in today’s society. It is a mentality that tells people that there is a lack in life. It’s a now or never marketing ploy.

Where as an abundance mentality, it tells us that there are always new chances and opportunities. This relieves much of the pressure we may feel if we have a scarcity mentality that makes us think that we have got only one chance right now. It can makes us feel like a failure just because we stumbled and things did not go to plan.

What you focus on gives you what you see in your world. This can help us notice opportunities you may have missed or forgotten about. Daily, try to create mutually beneficial relationships were you have a win – win situation. Instead of winning an argument, for example, try to reach an agreement that you are both happy with. Instead of competing choose to collaborate, to work together

Today try sharing what you have with others. It feels good to have shared and you have improved an other person’s life.

Abundance is not a state of finances or wealth, it is a state of inner well being..

Wherever there is joy, appreciation, gratitude, giving, caring, creativity, vision, inspiration, love and patience, there is abundance.

Remember, abundance is not something you acquire. It is something you tune into.

“Whatever we are waiting for – peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance – it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.”
Sarah Ban Breathnach
