“In life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action.”
Anthony Robbins

So often in life we can be our own worst enemy. We choose to make excuses.. Maybe the time is not right. Maybe there is too much risk involved. In our head, it seems like what we want to do is too difficult and impossible.

The things we want to do become difficult because we trap ourselves in our own thoughts. We doubt ourselves. We invent excuses as to why we can not do something and by the end of the day, it seems too hard. So we do nothing.

I can not count the number of times where I have let my fear control me. Looking back it is ridiculous because I did not even make an attempt. It seemed like the hardest thing in the world and so I did not do it.

When we tell our self it is too hard then we automatically default into failure. How can you expect anything if you do not make the attempt?

Getting started with our biggest task or most difficult action may seem too much and end up in procrastination land. So instead, start with something easy and as you achieve your goal. your confidence grows. Remember taking small steps, one after the other, leads you to success.

Start by writing a short ‘to-do’ list, focusing on the easy things…… As you ‘kick in’ you become in a ‘take action’ kind of mode.

Do it today……Taking action changes things. You will be glad you did.

“The future depends on what you do today.”
Mahatma Gandhi
