How Much You Want It

‘With self-discipline most anything is possible.’
Theodore Roosevelt

Motivation comes and goes however it wants. It might not last to the end of the week, end of the day, or even to the end of reading this blog post. It is fleeting.

Everywhere we go, we see people trying to get motivated to do something, to make a change. But that only leaves them ‘motivated’, it does not move them to action. Motivation alone does not work, we need discipline too.

Motivation is the start, but if it is not solidified into a discipline, it usually fades away into regret pretty quickly once you realise you never acted on it.

Once we have decided we are going to do it we need to decide if it is worth it, making that initial decision can be tough. Ask yourself, how much do you want it? You will have to sacrifice something at some point. If you want it bad enough, it will be worth it.

To reach your goal it is not more inspiration or more motivation you need….. but self discipline and dedication.

Commit to making your long term goal a reality……How much do you want it?.

‘We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.’
Jesse Owens
