Knowing Yourself

“It takes courage…to endure the sharp pains of self discovery rather than choose to take the dull pain of unconsciousness that would last the rest of our lives.”
Marianne Williamson

Self awareness provide us with a look into the deeper aspects of ourselves and to the limitless possibilities and potential that are available to all who will take the time to find it.

Being self aware means that you are able to live your life with a self confidence.…. you know who you are, what you want out of life and what you stand for. Because of this you are able to live life to the fullest.

Self awareness can enable and empower you to reflect and tap into your ‘true power‘ .To become more self aware, you need to know exactly who you are in this moment.

Start by making a list of the things you like and dislike – Knowing what you like and what you do not like is a very basic form of self awareness. Have you ever taken the time to write it all down and admit that there are just some things that you would really rather not spend your time doing?

Knowing what motivates you is an important part of becoming more self aware, what gets you out of bed in a morning? It is no secret that in order to live life to the fullest, we have to be able to motivate ourselves.

What is most important to your life right now? – So much of what we think we know about ourselves is based on past versions of ourselves. Decide what is relevant to your life right now.

Take some time to begin to build up your self awareness, discovering your own special light.

”Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.”
Tao Te Ching
