“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”
Golda Meir

.
Confidence is a tool we can use in our everyday life to do all kinds of empowering things. It enables us to stop second-guessing our self, helps us with managing our fears and being able to do more of the things that really matter to us.

.
Confidence is built by taking risks and learning to be independent. It is all about having a go and learning from our mistakes. The more skills and experience we build the more able we feel to accomplish anything.

.
By having a ‘can do‘ attitude were we are willing to give things a go, knowing that our world will not fall apart if we make a mistake and we can always try again. As we successfully complete tasks and goals, our confidence increases.

.
Remember, learning and research can help you to feel more confident about your ability to handle situations, roles and tasks. By doing something you have learned a lot about you put theory to practice which develops confidence and adds to the learning and your understanding.

.
And most importantly, try to remain cheerful and keep a positive outlook on life. Decide to only complain or criticise when necessary and when you do, look to do so in a constructive way. Look to offer others compliments and congratulate them on their successes. Positive thinking is a very powerful way of improving confidence.

.
Often the thought of starting something is worse than actually doing it, this is where preparation, learning and thinking positively can help.By stretching our self we gain confidence.

.
Push yourself today to begin that thing that you have been putting off starting .

.
“Low self-confidence isn’t a life sentence. Self-confidence can be learned, practiced, and mastered–just like any other skill. Once you master it, everything in your life will change for the better.”
Barrie Davenport
