Seeing The Good

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.’
Audrey Hepburn

I recently decided to change the way I look at each day. trying to seek the best in everything The day tends to turns out exactly the way you approach it. If you think it is bad, it is bad. If you think it is good, it is good. The same seems to go with people. Today if you feel tempted to focus on another person’s flaws, ask yourself, ‘What good qualities am I overlooking, and what possibilities could I create if I focused more on those’?

Make a practice of looking for the best in people and situations. You will find this simple approach induces optimism and positivity.

Researchers have shown that how you explain events in your life is linked to whether you are an optimist or a pessimist. Optimists tend to have a positive explanatory style. If you attribute good things that happen to your own skill and effort, then you are probably an optimist. Pessimists, on the other hand, usually have a negative attributional style. If you credit these good events to outside forces, then you likely have a more pessimistic way of thinking.

Today look for the positives. Focus on the positives of others ……this will also help the way you look at yourself. See the good

”When you choose to see the good in others, you end up finding the good in yourself.”
