Today Matters

.
‘Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of.’
Charles Richards

.
Do you worry so much about it that you end up not enjoying today? I am not a happy go lucky person, I take my responsibilities in life very seriously. But one thing I have learned is that I also need to make sure that everyday counts. We can easily get carried with the burdens of life and end up not being able to live today to the fullest.

.
Remember that we can never bring back today and today matters. Start the day positively, rather than pondering about what is wrong with everything around you. By starting your day in a positive way, you will make the most out of that time no matter what the day brings.
Make a new friend. This is a great way to open your horizons. Maybe you have a new office member or a new neighbour. Who knows, he or she could end up to be your BFF in the future. You will never know unless you try, so be the first one to approach. You will not lose anything by trying.

.
What we become is the result of what we do today, every day is preparation for the next. Therefore, the only way to change our life is to change what we do today. The way in which we use or abuse these irreplaceable moments shape our lives we get to enjoy. What we do today matters. It sets the stage for what will come next. The choices you make and actions you take influence all of your tomorrows.

.
Do something you have been to afraid to try. When we accomplish something that we had thought was impossible, it makes us a new person.  Commit today to do something you have been too afraid to try and see how it changes the way you see yourself for the better.

.
‘Most of us look at our days in the wrong way: We exaggerate yesterday. We overestimate tomorrow. We underestimate today. The truth is that the most important day you will ever experience is today. Today is the key to your success.’
