“To change ourselves effectively, we first had to change our perceptions.”
Stephen R. Covey

.
At difficult times it is all too easy focus on the negatives. At such times it is important to remember that the world is not out to get us and it does not punish us…… We do that to ourselves.

.
In your times of hardship learn to focus on the opportunities or change the way we look at a situation. Changing your perspective is like changing the window through which you view the world. When you change how you view the world, you change how you feel about it.

.
We choose our own perspectives. You alone choose them and how they develop

.
Knowing that you have the power to form your own perspectives is very freeing and can provide you a great deal of comfort to move forward with.

.
For example if you have a tendency to be negative, you can actively take steps to focus on the positive and letting go of negativity and negative influences in your life. This can help change our perspective into a positive one.

.
Part of reformulating any perspective is educating yourself through the consideration of a wide range of sources and opinions. You can use a variety of sources to educate yourself. Taking classes, reading, traveling, or even just talking to another person can provide you with new information that will help you change your perspectives.

.
Begin by opening your eyes to the beauty in front of you and celebrating what you see…… be friends with life.

.
“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
Frances Hodgson Burnett
