Trusting Life

“Fear stops us from making the leap, taking the chance, reaching out, and trusting ourselves.”
Jeanne Boschert

Life is short and you are unique. Do not sell yourself short by believing that life just evolves. Pay attention to what has heart and meaning – for you.Try not worry about what other people are doing or what other people think.

We all spend so much energy trying to be loved, accepted, or approved of by others. And the truth is that we can not ever control whether other people like, love, accept, or approve of us. It is hard to accept that we are powerless over other people, particularly the people we love the most. Whatever it is that you hope the people who are most important to you and the people you love the most will provide for you, begin providing that to yourself. Strengthen the muscles of your own Inner Adult by consistently choosing to accept, delight in, and approve of yourself. Anything else is some form of self-abuse.

When you live in trust, you do not waste any of your precious  energy worrying about the past or the future.

As you live with trust on your side, you can develop a strong internal belief that no matter what is happening in your life, everything will be okay. With trust, you can take responsibility for how you respond to things that happen in your life, allowing you to live from a place of inner power and strength. Feeling empowered will enable you to live a full and powerful life.

When you trust yourself it is much easier to step outside your comfort zone. Comfort zones keep you stuck and leads to stagnation and same old, same old. Go beyond your habituated comfort zone today and start to live a more exciting, adventurous and inspired life.

  1. Sir Winston says that he believes it would be good if we would first, love ourselves, because we can always rely on ourselves.
Society dictates that if we are to be seen as “a good person” we have to be successful, always have a helping hand and not selfish.
Mr Midnight adds that being selfish, in that one loves oneself, is indeed the first step towards helping others.
I believe that people are frightened of life (although hardly ever admitting to such a fact) simply because they are frightened of change. Life is always “on the go!).
A fitting quote for fear is:- “What man does not understand her fears; and what he fears, he tends to destroy”.
Perhaps it´s time to genuinely, search for ONES OWN TRUTHS!
Best regards from the “Gilmours Nice Place” blog. 🙂
