“When you push yourself to discover the real you, there is only one winner.”
Stephen Richards

Authenticity is all about being real. Genuine, not an imitation. An amazing thing happens when you are honest with yourself and start doing what is right for you, what makes you happy, what feels right.

.
Honesty liberates us from our rigdity. It lifts a heavy weight off our shoulders. If we look within and find that either we have no courage or no enthusiasm, which prevents us from giving our best to the task. Maybe you told yourself that life is supposed to be this way – miserable at times so you can be happy at other times – and you ‘bought’ that theory in a unsatisfactory life.

.
Being true to yourself starts with knowing who you are and accepting yourself; knowing your strengths, passions, limitations and purpose in life and then living that way all the time. You come to know yourself only by living life. Finding what works for you. What defines you and makes you whole.

.
When you start being true to yourself, you stop longing for the weekend, you stop only looking forward to special events. You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling alive. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born.

.
Take a closer look at what it is you need to do to be true to yourself. Being your true, authentic self at every opportunity helps you become a better entrepreneur, leader, and human.

.
Remember you are the game changer – you are in charge – you are the boss of you – you set the ground rules and boundaries – no one else has that superb power or pleasure. No one else ever should. Commit today to live your truth.

“Don’t you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can’t be exactly who you are.”
Lady Gaga
