A Rubbish Day

“When you are having a really crappy day, and life seems to be kicking your ass, try to force your self to laugh. If you can achieve a smile and a laugh, you can chase any demons away”
L.F. Young

.
I do not believe anyone is immune to experiencing a rubbish day. After all there is really no such thing as a perfect life. Maybe you are dealing with problems at home, maybe missing your friends and family because you are living in a new country or town.

.
A bad day can be triggered by problems at work for something that was not even our fault. No matter what the cause is, often times it can ruin our entire day or even week. It can leave one down and frustrated. The worst thing of all is that it does not only affect you, it also affects everyone around us.

.
If you are experiencing a bad day today, sometimes, a simple reminder that you are in control of your happiness is all that is needed to change your attitude and change your outlook.

.
At such times it is useful to find humour in the situation because no matter how bad things may be, you will feel a little better once you smile or have a good chuckle. As they say, “Laughter is the best medicine”.

.
If life can be good enough to laugh about it in the worst situations, then how can every day not turn out to be a good day for you? Sometimes a simple reminder that you are in control of your happiness is all that is needed to change  your outlook.

.
Look for beautiful moments in your day today.

.
“Maybe it’s not about having a beautiful day, but about finding beautiful moments. Maybe a whole day is just too much to ask. I could choose to believe that in every day, in all things, no matter how dark and ugly, there are shards of beauty if I look for them.”
