Life’s Steps

”Be what you are. This is the first step toward becoming better than you are.”
Julius Charles Hare

Our lives are made up of a complex network of pathways that we can use to move from one phase of life to the next. For some of us, our paths are wide, smooth, and clearly marked. Many of us, however, find that we have a difficult time figuring out where we need to go next.

Determining what ‘next step’ will take you on the most direct route to finding fulfillment is not always easy. Remember, failing to make a choice is a choice in itself. If you cling to your indecisiveness, you will continue to doubt yourself at the most crucial moments. Focus on being a more decisive person

How do we really know what our next step is in this life we are living…today? How do we even know if the steps we are taking are steps in a right direction?

Our life is a summation of all the little steps we take along the way. Sometimes things happen for a reason and not to push us back in life, but to move us forward to where we are truly meant to be.

Life’s a journey, not some destination. We can get flat tyres along the way. We repair them and move on. It can all start with a deviation from the norm. There are many different ways of going forward, but only one way of standing still.

Learn from your past, appreciate your present, and focus on your future. Thinking ahead to the life you want to have will give you something to pursue, set goals, broken down into a plan of action. Having something to pursue will make it easier to walk forward.

Most importantly be confident and be brave…..believe in yourself.

“The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark.”
Barbara Hall
