Your Journey In Life

“There are no wrong turnings. Only paths we had not known we were meant to walk.”
Guy Gavriel Kay

Discovering and honing our path is a continual part of our journey in life. As you move through life try to be compassionate to yourself, knowing that where you are right now is the best place.

We have all had times when we focus on the things that have gone wrong. It is easy to focus on the loss and the heartbreak and the pain, but it is also important to remember all of the things that have gone right.

Focus on your positive experiences and friendships and growth and laughter you have gained. Giving you things you would have never taken part in, lessons you would have never learned, and people you would never have met had you not veered off the original path.

We need to remember that it is the journey which is important. Often when looking at our life, we see only the end result, when really, walking our path in the present moment and embracing each step is what matters.

Every day is an opportunity as life is unfolding.. Stand back and see the bigger picture, you maybe surprised to see how far you have traveled.

Take a step forward today. Belief in yourself…you can do it.

“The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark.”
Barbara Hall
