‘We can choose how we want to feel, by choosing how we behave. We feel the way we behave. So if you don’t like the way you feel, then change your behavior.’
Thomas D. Willhite

Over time I have come to realise that feeling miserable is our choice. It is the result of no effort and it is only to be expected if we mistakenly see the source of our happiness as something outside of ourselves.

.
Feeling miserable drives us inward until we finally realise that we are the only one who can transform misery to bliss by a shift in our own perception. Both misery and bliss are available. We get what we focus on.

.
Learn to love and forgive the world starting with yourself. Reconcile with the world you may have seen as your mortal enemy and discover that it never took part in the battle that as left you bruised. The world is like an old childhood friend who patiently waits for you to come back out and play!

.
Decide to focus on the good in your life. Commit to seeing your life in a more positive light…it will enhance your well being and your happiness.

.
The world is full of opportunities, but sometimes too much thinking can get in the way. Changing your life for the better is about picking a destination and taking one step at a time to get there.

.
Choose to be a positive on influence in your life today.

“I know it doesn’t feel this way all the time, but we get to choose what we care about and what we spend our resources on. We choose what – or ideally whom – to lust after. We choose what to watch, what to like, what to build, how to spend the breaths that we’ve been alive. And the fact that many of our choices our unconscious – Get that handbag, get that Starbucks, look at that Snooki – does not in any way make us less responsible for those choices. I’m happiest when I feel like I’m part of a community that helps me choose more intelligently and with greater empathy. And I for one like the choices we made this weekend.”
