Self Assessment

For me one of the most important factors in building our self esteem and confidence is our self awareness. But what exactly is it, why is it important and how can you become more self aware.
Being self aware is knowing what you want in your life, your strengths and weaknesses, what motivates you and makes you happy, what you want to change about yourself or about your life, your achievements so far, how you relate to others, you need to improve as a person, your most important beliefs and values and how you see yourself as a person .

.
Having self awareness is important because if you want to change your life in any way you need to know yourself before you can act. You need to know what you need to do to head in the right direction and you can not do that until you know yourself.

.
Discovering the inner you will enable you to give more of yourself and others, as well as helping to build your self esteem and confidence as you become truer to yourself .

.
Reflect enables you to focus on the important things in your life, not just the immediate. Reflection takes many forms. Some keep a journal, some pray, and others take a long walk or jog. Personally, I use my time in the garden. I am able to focus my attention on what is really important, and develop an inner sense of well-being.

.
Find time for a self  assessment….Take a closer look at yourself today.

”It is not by muscle, speed, or physical dexterity that great things are achieved, but by reflection and force if character.
Marcus Tullius Cicero
