Your Inner Fire

”The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”

 Ferdinand Foch

I believe the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference. Indifference – having no particular interest or sympathy; unconcerned. Life is a miraculous gift. Yet, as many of us move through time, we seem to have forgotten. So how can we over come feeling indifferent to our life?

I believe few things can fuel our inner fire like discovering new people, adventure, and experience through travel. The sights, scents and sounds of a new places on the map can help us see our old world with fresh eyes.Whether you are discovering to a new area within your old town or swapping hemispheres for three months of backpacking, feeling lost can be one of the best ways to find yourself again.

If travelling is not possible you can conquer space and time by turning the pages of good books. Literature opens our minds to the language of life and opens our heart to our inner whispers. Make time to read, then reflect on what you read, and you may find yourself with a deeper connection to the life you truly want to live.

Create beauty where there was nothing and you may feel a passion you never expected. Whatever your art , painting, poetry, writing, sculpture or flowers…..connect with your deeper self through creative activities that refuel your energy.

Look to find what drives you, to push yourself forward towards the life you aspire to. Begin by trying something new today.

Go within every day and find the inner strength so that the world will not blow your candle out.”
