We all have moments of self doubt. We all compare ourselves to other people, and I can assure you that the people who seem to have it all do not.

As individuals, we have the incredible power to decide that we are good enough. You are the person who owns the key to your self worth, which controls what you do. In order to achieve the feeling of being good enough, you must first believe it. If you choose not to do so, then no one else can do it for you.When you make the choice, you become in control, you are in the driving seat. Remember when you feel imperfect, you have chosen to be imperfect. Perfection is merely a veneer that holds us back from moving forward.

One thing I have learned about making changes and reaching for the next step on the ladder is that you cannot fully feel satisfied with where you are going until you can accept, acknowledge, and appreciate where you are.

Acknowledge today what you have achieved and give yourself a pat on the back for trying, making progress, and coming as far as you have……You are enough just as you are. And self-love will be a little bit easier every time you remind yourself of that.

Last but not least, you feel not good enough because of the thoughts you give power to. You have to cut the power cord to your thoughts. If a thought comes up and tells you that you are not good enough, you can either believe it, or you can witness it with a smile (smile optional). This does not mean you will instantly feel good enough. The thought and feeling may linger, but you do not have to become entangled. There is space there for more positive thinking to enter.

Just because a thought tells you that you are not good enough does not make it so. And right about now you may have a thought that goes, “yes, but…

.
It is okay if fear comes up. We are human beings. We will experience everything on the spectrum of emotions.What matters is that you stay as the awareness behind it all. That is where you will find peace, joy and happiness. When you stay as the awareness, you allow your inner wisdom to come forth. It will guide you forward.

Today focus your mind on believing you can do it. Which step will you reach today?
