“Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable, and you are worth the effort.”

Life has been stressful lately, and certain things have fallen by the wayside. It is at these times I am reminded about the importance of taking good care of myself….plenty of sleep. fresh nutritious food to revive my energy and well-being .

.

It is good to remember that we are like a building with stained-glass windows. We always shine when things are good, but when difficulties arise, our true magnificence is revealed only if there is light shining from within us. It is our duty, and ours alone, to keep our inner light shining bright.

.

When we learn to love ourselves first, instead of relying the idea of other people needing to love us. Loving ourselves does not mean being selfish and narcissistic, or disregarding others. It means welcoming our self as the most honoured guest in our own heart and mind – a guest worthy of extra care and respect.

.

Acting on what you need rather than what you want. You love yourself when you can turn away from a short lived good excitement, to what you need to stay strong, centered, and moving forward in your life, instead. By staying focused on what you need, you are able to look out for those automatic behaviour patterns that get you into trouble and keep you stuck in the past.

.

We will love ourselves more, when we take better care of our basic needs. People high in self-love nourish themselves daily through healthy activities, like good nutrition, exercise, enough sleep, and healthy social interactions.

.

Whatever you are doing, love yourself for doing it. Whatever you are feeling, love yourself for feeling it. Nourish yourself to help you develop into the person you want to be. Take a close look at what you feed your mind and body with today.

.

“How would your life be different if…You were conscious about the food you ate, the people you surround yourself with, and the media you watch, listen to, or read? Let today be the day…You pay attention to what you feed your mind, your body, and your life. Create a nourishing environment conducive to your growth and well-being today.”
