No matter how fulfilling your work, there are days when you just can not summon any enthusiasm for it.
.
Psychology Julie Fast says “Don’t wait until you feel like doing something.” When you are feeling in negative emotions about work, resist the urge to stamp them out. Instead, step away from your desk, focus on your breathing for a few seconds and just feel the negativity. Then take action alongside the emotion. Usually, the negative feelings will soon disappear. Even if they don’t, you will be a step closer to getting a meaningful achievement.
.
James Hill, practitioner of Morita Therapy, points out, many of our most significant achievements get done despite the absence of enthusiasm.
.
Focus on action. Go on……. Call them. Write it. Say it. Do it..Make it your priority today.
