With Strength

‘One small crack does not mean that you are broken. It means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.”
Linda Poindexter

.
There are times in life when we feel weak, beaten down, or even trod upon. It is in these moments, that we must remember the strength that lies within ourselves.

.

Remember that life goes on, with or without you. You are bigger and better than whatever is intimidating, scaring, or hurting you.

.

The only thing you need to be rescued from is the belief that you need to be rescued. You are stronger and more resilient than you think. Do not underestimate yourself by comparing yourself with others. It is our differences that make us unique and beautiful.

.

You know those times in life when things feel really tough? You feel overwhelmed and alone, and you wonder whether or not you are strong enough to handle it. Maybe an issue at home is exhausting, a dynamic at work is not getting better, or you are grieving the loss of someone dear. Sometimes things just seem too much to handle. Never give up on yourself, once you do, there is nobody left.

.

Worry does not remove tomorrow of your sorrow; it empties you today of strength.….Life is not finding shelter in the storm. It is about learning to dance in the rain.

.
Strength does not mean you are not afraid. It does not mean you have all the answers. It means you have the ability to keep going, putting one foot in front of the other, even when fear and doubt say you can’t.

.
‘What lies before us and what lies behind us are small matters compared to what lies within us. And when you bring what is within out into the world, miracles happen.”
Henry David Thoreau
