“Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.”
Lyndon B. Johnson
All too often too many of us are hung up on what we do not have, can not have, or will not ever have. We spend too much energy being down, when we could use that same energy – if not less of it – doing, or at least trying to do, some of the things we really want to do.
.
The first step to moving into a positive space, I believe, is to get over the fear of trying. Just stop being afraid. The most successful people in this world recognise that taking chances to get what they want is much more productive than sitting around being too scared to take a shot.
.
I think it all comes down to basic questions of valuing and loving yourself. We all have a baggage that we are carrying from the past, either if it is something that we have done ourselves that we are not so proud of and we can not get over or something that happened to us.
.
I believe there are only two ways to live your life and that is through fear or through love. So, in any situation in life, always try to choose love. Follow what makes you feel good.
.
Choose to take up a lot of positive space in your own life today. Choose to give yourself permission to meet your own needs. Choose to honour your feelings and emotions. Choose to make self-love and self-care a part of your daily rituals…

“One of the most powerful lessons in life is to recognize that no one can give you power, and many people don’t want you to have it. You have to find the courage to seize it, own it and hold on!”
Shannon L. Alder
