Life’s Opportunities

“Dare to seize and make the most of all opportunities that life bring to your path.”
Lailah Gifty Akita

.
It has been said that opportunity is all around us. However, most of us, unfortunately, let opportunity slip-by every day because we are either untrained or unaware of the signals that life throws our way.

.
Other times we see the opportunities that life presents us with, but we do not take advantage of them simply because on the surface they appear to be nothing more than problems.

.
There is no doubt that we miss out on incredible opportunities every single day. We work hard to achieve our goals and objectives, only to maybe sabotage our own success because we neglect to take advantage of the chances that life sends our way.

.
An opportunity is anything that provides you with a chance to change your circumstances for the better.

.
Many of the opportunities we come across are actually disguised as problems or hard work. And yet that is where we make a mistake. We see our problems as ‘problems’, rather than challenges that test and strengthen our resolve.

.
The moment you shift your perspective and begin seeing your problems as challenges is the moment you begin training your brain to spot opportunities.

.
This means that you must be open to new perspectives and ideas – things that are out of the ordinary that could potentially provide you with unique understandings that will help move your goals forward or overcome the problems you are facing.

.
You either choose to take advantage of an opportunity, or you choose something else. And in the end, your entire life script is written on the canvas of the decisions you made.

.
What opportunities are you going to seize today?

.
“Opportunities pop up for everybody all of the time. It’s the way that we progress. It’s whether or not you’re in the right frame of mind or in the right stage of your life or if you’re even looking for them that determines whether or not you see them. As you take more risks you see opportunities more easily.
Risks are never the safe option, but for me the safe option is the worst option. The riskiest life I can think of is letting yourself to be molded into this comfortable, same-as-everybody-else routine. For me, that is risking my whole life.”
