Redirecting Your Energy

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
Albert Einstein

The ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a positive, optimistic outlook is a hugely important. Sooner or later everything in life changes. If we struggle with or constantly resist change, we will always be behind the curve trying to regain something that does not exist anymore.

Perspective has a lot to do with our ability to adapt. If your perception is that you like your life just the way it is and you do not want anything to change, then change represents pain and you will try to avoid it.

On the other hand, if you view your life as an exciting, ever-changing adventure, you will not only expect change, you will actually look forward to it.

Embrace the changes you face in your life….look for opportunities to grow, to develop, And remember, doing nothing requires effort. Over time, that effort is greater than the effort necessary to improve, or move somewhere better. The trick is to redirect energy. Come up with new thoughts and new ideas as you adapt to win.

Look for ways to take advantage and to use your talents to deal with any new situation that you find yourself in today…..using the opportunity to shine.

“Adaptability is about the powerful difference between adapting to cope and adapting to win.”
Max McKeown
