After the Storm

.

“There are no wrong turnings. Only paths we had not known we were meant to walk.”
 Guy Gavriel Kay

In these times of uncertainty it is important to remember that one’s life’s path often looks more like a maze than a straight line. Looking back, we see we hit dead ends, lost time, meandered in various directions and twisted and turned at unexpected places….but it is all part of our journey.

Along the way we gain enlightenment, appreciation, and wisdom. I love the quote of Joseph Campbell ‘ If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take.’

We say that life moves forward, but forward does not always mean in a straight line;

Forward can mean backtracking. Forward can mean getting sidetracked. Forward can mean circling around. Forward can mean sitting still for a little while.

We are allowed to figure out what inspires us at different stages of our life. Life can be be a series of zig zags. What ever the situation is that you are in right now, you are gaining experience., especially in these difficult uncertain times ..,…

And remember to keep self believing … you are stronger than you think.

”You never know what’s around the corner. It could be everything. Or it could be nothing. You keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you’ve climbed a mountain.”
 Tom Hiddleston
