“Personal power is the ability to stand on your own two feet with a smile on your face in the middle of a universe that contains a million ways to crush you.”
J.Z. Colby, Journey
.
To create and experience personal power means we embrace our right to think for our self, to speak our mind, and to pursue happiness, success and financial gain. It allows us to seek self-awareness and a sense of peace, and to do so without having to conform to anyone else’s smaller standards including our own.
.
Focus on loving yourself, and that is why it is possible to love you. Self love is the cure to self hate. Self love can cure the world……Once you love and accept the worst possible version of yourself, you are free.
.
To grow in personal power involves monitoring, evaluating and adjusting your life, your relationships, your self-care, your attitude and personal beliefs to staying away from complacency so you may continue meeting higher standards.
.
One of the best ways to keep yourself motivated in reaching higher standards is to write things down and define your actions. Describe what excellent performance would be and then describe what complacent performance would be. Commit to try to reach your highest standards to enable you to be come a better you.
,
Forgive your imperfect self and begin to embrace yourself for who you are. Start by removing the toxic relationships around you, including the one you have with yourself. Focus on loving yourself. .
.
Empower yourself by loving yourself. Take advantage of what it means to have the unrestricted opportunity to love your life, to be kind, and to strive for that beautiful and attainable sense of personal freedom. In your freedom lies your personal power.
.
A simple example of exercising personal power is changing habits. Changing a habit could be giving up smoking, stetting up an exercise routine, or controlling an emotional reaction to a person at work. How quickly and efficiently someone changes a behaviour pattern is one way to measure their personal power.
.
As you gain a small amount of personal power, you can use it to break other energy draining habits. Each energy draining habit that you break will return back to you more personal power with which to break other sabotaging habits. The more power you recover, the faster you will be able to break other sabotaging habits in your life.

Victory tastes very sweet and there are many advantages to winning, as the harder the win was, the sweeter the taste of victory is. You start feeling better about yourself and you improve your confidence, you boost up your morale and your desire to win, becomes greater than the fear of losing….Commit to becoming a winner in life.
.
“How to win in life: 1 work hard. 2 complain less. 3 listen more. 4 try, learn, grow. 5 don’t let people tell you it cant be done. 6 make no excuses”
